Its been a awhile since a headling roots tour.This one brings the boys to san jose state events arena. The bill consists of New Queen brit _dis(songstress) ESTELLE, with new hip pop act gym class heros. I guess 10/18/2008 has something for everyone.

Weezer and Tokyo Police Club

Weezer Return after rumors of breaking up three years ago. The New Weezer album RED is out now and a fall tour begins is in the works. VIRGINS AND BLACK KIDS

sounds like that shouldnt be used in the same sentence. We all know the black kids get laid first because theyre usually the lound ones in the bunch but as for the virgins they are usually really quiet and awkward. JK well the two bands team up for Indie pop band BLACK KIDS first headline gig in san francisco and they're already playing the Fillmore on october 13th. I saw them open for Cut Copy and Simian Mobile Disco back in april when they stopped at Mezzanine and thought black kids were fairly good. Im looking more forward to seeing the Virgins play. theyre so cute and witty and play the bay alot, but this will be one kick ass gig.

One of the best light shows definately hails from Austin duo GHOSTLAND. there lazers are spectacular and will keep you
entertained for hours. The strange pitch and howels of Aaron sound like a robot making love to tree as described on their myspace profile. They usually play Mezzanine when they play in san francisco but this time they play an all ages venue that
is sure to sell out. FILLMORE ON OCTOBER 17TH.

GIRL TALK THIS OCTOBER IN SAN FRANCISCO

GREG GILLIS aka GIRL TALK pulled that radiohead stint this past summer. His album was revealed a few days before he posted as a pay what you want promotional download from the net. I jumped on the opportunity to hear 12 new mashed up tracks with 100's of songs mixed gracefully. Ive witness GIRL TALK about 4 times and cant wait to see him tear up the fillmore once agian.
